Carefully designed, hand-mixed and tested over many years. This supercharged substrate is built to drive explosive early growth, laying down thick, vigorous root systems and setting your plants up for outrageous performance.

An incredible, all-purpose acidic soil specially designed for chilli plants, but perfect for a wide range of potted flowering plants. We formulated Ignition to deliver fast, nutrient uptake to roots whilst maintaining precision drainage and aeration.

What it does

• Supercharges vegetative growth for massive plants: formulated for rapid leaf and stem development, building a dense canopy that’s primed for heavy flowering and fruiting.
• Stage 1 - designed for the vegetative growth stage; feeds until flowering: provides balanced nutrients and structure from seedling through to flower.
• Extremely well-draining, light, loamy mix: eradicates the risk of root rot, promotes strong and heavy rooting, and encourages the establishment of beneficial mycorrhiza for the most effective nutrient uptake possible.
• Contains professional slow-release nutrients: consistent, reliable feeding without the risk of burn or buildup.

Suggested use

• Start and veg: sow or transplant into Ignition soil, no need to add anything else until flower buds appear.
• Potting strategy: choose clear/translucent containers with generous drainage to observe roots and avoid overwatering so the mix can work its magic.
• Progression: at first signs of flowering, repot plants into their final containers - the mix will hold together around the roots, no need to disturb it. Add Stage 2 "Inferno" soil to the new containers, pop the plants with their root balls on top, then 'tuck-in' and top dress with more Stage 2 to be all set for the rest of the year!
